Donna Huie-Brooks is an accomplished journalism, public relations and media management professional with profound acumen in various communication disciplines. Donna is also an experienced management consultant, writer, trainer, presenter, and public speaker.

Donna Huie-Brooks’ more than 15 years of broadcast and print journalism experience includes positions in Washington, DC and in the Carolinas. She has served as news director, editor-in-chief, anchor, reporter and web site editor at nationally respected as well as emerging newspapers, a top cable news station and an award winning PBS station. The winner of numerous local, state, and regional news awards, Mrs. Huie-Brooks is also an award winning industrial filmmaker.

Donna Huie-Brooks is a graduate of the Howard University’s School of Communications, the Washington, DC native is the founding partner of Media Momentum, LLC.

Donna Huie-Brooks has held several board positions with community nonprofit and civic organizations, assisting with communications, media, public relations, professional development, and event planning.

Donna Huie-Brooks has also served as adjunct professor at Cleveland Community College, and with the North Carolina Department of Corrections teaching communications, media law and ethics as well as English.
